Innovation and consistency

A famous philosopher once said, “The more things change, the more they stay the same.” Actually, that was Bon Jovi. This Community has witnessed the expansion from nuclear to outer space. But, the driving forces behind our expansion remain the same: organizational transformation through shared learning. Sometimes innovations are small, think of the little plastic clip on your bread bag. Other times innovation is hard to comprehend, the difference between your PC and quantum computing. The evolutions within our Community, both in terms of our learning opportunities and the philosophies among our members, have come on in degrees. Small degrees with our conference attendance growth or leap-frogging progression from trending models to AI, we’re witnessing them all. Yet consistency remains. Our community has moved beyond one industry to include all who operate within the complexity of a VUCA world. Our philosophies have expanded to learning from past events to learning from normal work. The cultures we create in our organizations are more inclusive and just. The data we process is more robust and at a speed never before imagined. The Community of Human and Organizational Learning embraces the opportunities these innovations continue to provide our members.
